    Role and Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and execution to reach customer standards and schedule with the quality standards.
  • Responsible for raising RFI s and Change orders (CO) and getting CO approvals from customers.
  • Checking of Shop drawings and Erection plans.
  • Should have Knowledge on various other projects from industrial structure to commercial structures having complex connections to complex modeling criteria.
    Role and Responsibilities
  • Shall deliver the complete fabrication package as per project schedule.
  • Shall ensure compliance with Bechtel's standard procedures and project requirements.
  • Shall assign work and provide technical direction to subordinate detailers / drafters and check the deliverables.
  • Shall perform modelling of steel members and connections for critical structures and produce fabrication and erection drawings using TEKLA software.

    Role and Responsibilities
  • Thorough editing of erection drawings, assembly and single parts
  • Ensure correct pick points in drawings for dimensioning and legibility of sheets
  • Ensure the drawings submitted to clients are accurate and per client specifications, standards and requirements
  • Lead a team of editors for each project, allocating resources and managing hours
  • Ensuring all documentation requirements and deadlines are met for each project
  • Assume responsibility for your contribution to each project assigned
  • Act as a liaison and communicate with senior members and team lead about details or issues of projects

  • Create estimates for both hours and costing based on the project bid invites
  • Submit estimates in a timely manner

  • Update scheduling program to record site progress.
  • Build a schedule a construction schedule in P6
  • Prepare short term detailed look ahead programs i.e. the 4 weeks look ahead.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports as required by the Contract and Site Manager.
  • Identify slippages in the program and prepare recovery schedules from onsite inspections.
  • Prepare daily productivity reports and identify by exception areas where progress and productivity is outside of agreed performance parameters.
  • Prepare reports on operations identifying issues which may impact upon achievement of site progress in conjunction with the Site Manager.
  • Assist with the maximization of plant, equipment and labour utilization in conjunction with the Site Manager.
  • Liaise with Logistics Manager to quantify material availability.
  • Assist with ensuring all costs are accounted for, accurately costed and within budget.

The Role
We are currently seeking a Planner Scheduler
  • Ensuring the Scope of Work for engagement is fully understood and all planning and preparation is undertaken to deliver the work.
  • Preparing daily productivity reports and identify by exception areas where progress and productivity is outside of agreed performance parameters.
  • Planning and co-ordinating provision of standard and specialist tools required to complete the scope of work.
  • Managing routine quality processes such as Contractor Technical Queries and/or Quality non-conformances.
  • Prepare daily productivity reports and identify by exception areas where progress and productivity is outside of agreed performance parameters.
  • Preparing document deliverables and close out documents and reports.
  • Scope and provide resource and material estimates for Works identified during inspections.
  • Working with the Planning teams to ensure that resources are available.

  • Minimum 3 year’s experience in a similar role on a large mining & resource project
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft office particularly Word and Excel.
  • Qualification: BE Mechanical Engineer
  • Years of experience : 3-5 years
  • Area of expertise: Very good experience in Creo on modeling, detailing, assembly & surfacing of heavy mining equipment like bucket wheel reclaimer, ship loader etc
  • Mandatory CAD Tool- Creo
  • Project Tenure :-6 months

  • Diploma in mechanical with 5+ years’ experience.
  • Modelling of Equipment’s like Tanks, Vessels, Pumps and Structures, Primary & Secondary Supports in AutoCAD Plant3D.
  • Modelling of Piping & its components (individually) based on the P&ID, including 2D study.
  • Extraction of Piping layout’s, Production Isometrics, BOM in AutoCAD Plant3D.
  • Must have the Capacity to read and understand the P&ID’s, Line list, Piping material specification, Vendor GAD’s and in line Instruments.
  • Must have the capacity to take lead in 30%, 60% & 90% model review in AutoCAD plant3D.
  • Familiar in Piping layout concepts.
  • Familiar in AutoCAD 2D drafting.
  • Diploma in mechanical with 8+ year’s experience.
  • Modelling of Large Bore and Small Bore and Balance of Plant piping incl. Primary & Secondary Supports in AutoCAD Plant3D.
  • Required knowledge on Pipe routing of critical lines (High temperatures)
  • Modelling of Piping & its components (individually) based on the P&ID, including 2D study.
  • Extraction of Piping layout’s, Production Isometrics, BOM in AutoCAD Plant3D.
